Why art? Because nothing I have done so far in my life has inspired me as much as the creative process. Taking a vision that is literally a figment of my imagination and producing a piece of furniture or sculpture always gives me a sense of wonderment. I make art because of the challenge of creating something that embodies a part of my personality; I enjoy the problem solving necessary when creating an object from my inner vision. There is always some level of compromise between design and reality. So, why art? Because it's what I'm supposed to be doing.
